Don't exactly know when this problem started but everytime i go to use ie it comes up with "This page cannot be displayed" and i mean, it is constant no matter what i try.
Tried detecting network settings and security level changes plus allowances for cookies and\or java permissions but to no avail.
Anybody gots some ideas?
I'm all out.
Thank's in advance for any replies.

Just curious, did you by chance have Zone Alarm installed and then uninstall it? Seen lots of problem in the uninstall part.

Or removed some spyware (WebHancer, NewdotNet)?

Here are a couple of articles:

Good luck, Tony

No, but i agree as to unloading , say , a downloading program such as download accelerator , etc. might have an effect , BUT, what!!! That's the 64$ question.

Well, I found the solution , if ya wanna call it that.
I had forgotten i had installed a web acceleration program and had disingaged it from the start menu as i didn't particularly want it running at startup and then forgot about it.Sooooo , after re-activating it all was well in computerland once again however , just to see if the program would release the necessary data to have ie run without the program......... alas , no go.Back to the original problem. So for the time being i just activate the program when i need to go on the web with IE.
Thank's for all your replies.

And BTW if anyone knows how to retrieve data like that from a program , like webaccelerator , i would be glad to hear them.
Thank's again.
