Hello.

Whenever I type in something in a white box (i.e. a search engine box) when using IE explorer, it ALWAYS adds it to a long "pop up" (or "drop down") list. Like if I go to hotmail and start to type in my username, immediately a small list will pop up and it will scroll through the names that start with that letter (I have accidently typed my username wrong a few times).

HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS ANNOYING PROBLEM?

Regards,

AshFalling

From browser Tools/Internet Options/Content/Autocomplete/ Uncheck boxes.

For registry tweak <a target="_blank" href=http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/772/>Control the Auto Complete Mode</a> courtesy of Simon

Also, by clicking Tools - Internet Options - General - Clear History, this will get rid of that list of website addresses you have typed in.
