I just bought for myself a burner and backed up my entire D:\ drive onto a ReWritable CD. Very cool... I reformatted, repartitioned my PC using my notebooks recovery CD and when I was up and running again I started to install all my backed-up applications straight off the CD. Everything went good until I tried to install MSIE 6.0 (the longest installation in history...) I waited close to an hour and a half to see it at 50% (no exaggerating, I played tombraider 3 and beat a couple levels while checking up on it here and there...). I couldnt take it no more (I already beat tombraider 3) so I cancelled out and it took about ten minutes to do so saying if I restart my PC now I could damage the PC...
Does anyone know where I can get the full fledged download outside of Microsoft? I really dont care for the throbber as long as all the settings are at their default values. Someone help?
