98/2: Icons within program menus are distorted (W98)

Only within some programs, icons seemed scratched, hard to see, some are just invisible or distorted.

Not all my programs but a very few are starting to do this after another clean install. I never experienced it before, has anyone else? Can someone help with an answer on this one?

I fixed it! For those curious with maybe the same problem I tell you persistance overcomes resistance!

I own a SONY VAIO PCG-F430 notebook PC and connected to it is a second monitor, a SONY CPD-15SF2. Well when I reformatted and repartioned it this last and final time to now create for myself a customized restore CD I forgot to enable the second monitor. Once I enabled it under display property &gt; settings &gt; advanced and rebooted, it cured the headache.

Very cool :)

Another question though... Under my device manager when I looked under monitors after having fixed the problem I've got two SONY CPD-15SF2 entries... They both have the exact same properties... Are one of them safe to delete?
