Dear Forum,
I have two OS's on my machine for hardware compatability issues that I had. I used to be able to have a choice of which os to boot (thanks to the 2k start up option) either ME or 2k. I have since changes ME to 98 and this is the resident OS in the computer settings (where ever they are kept)...

Does anyone know how I can boot to 2k? Can I boot through dos like with ME with the command C:\windows\win ? Does any one know the 2K command line, or is there another way?

Regards Dale,

Re-install W2K in the same directory that you currently have. When you installed Windows 98 in place of Windows Me you replaced the Windows 2000 boot sector with the Windows 98 one.

By re-installing you will have the dual boot option again.

Is there anyway that I can boot to 2k through DOS so I can manually change which Os I want to boot (with the 2K options?). Won't that change it back?

If you re-install W2K you will get the boot selection screen that will allow you to manually select W2K or W98.
