Hai
I am unable to viewing local web sites by DNS on WINDOWS 2000 SERVER,but able to by DNS on WINDOWS NT4.0.I followed the steps
Installed windows 2000 server , chosen dns during active directory set up
After installing select dns ,it showing two zones ,one forward and reverse
In forward zone " test1.com " active directory integrated running
Stop default web site and create new web site with port number 80(multiple web sites)
ex:www.test1.com
Added www host name in dns and check created associated ptr record
www.test1.com through browser ,ths host was not found
I used nslookup at command prompt ,it giving response (server name,ip address)
The above procedure have done at NT4.0,It working fine, but WINDOWS 2000 SERVER not working
Any one any idea about this should be appreciated
