The "Add New Hardware" Wizzard keeps poping up.
The message refers to my printer driver. I Haven't changed a thing on this computer in a year. Is there corruption or what? It still prints just fine.
Should I get my printer disc out and let the machine find the driver again or what?
Thank you.
Scott

I've had success with removing the printer from Printers and uninstalling the software. Disconnect the printer and restart the computer 3 times. Then follow the manufacturer's routine to re-install it. Some printers [HP was one] will get all messed up in the software and a fresh install usually works.

Ditto for my Lexmark. I had the exact same problem. Even though everything worked OK I let the wizard do its thing and find the drivers on the disk and install them, thinking that would make it happy, but alas, no. Had to do the purge/install thing to fix it. And using the Windows hardware wizard wasn't good enough, I had to use the OEM install software.
