using SP2 on a FAT32 partition
After imaging my main drive with ghost (SystemWorks 2002), and running sysprep.exe from M$ then imaging the drive, when I transfer that image over to my other bootable drive and go through the setup, explorer hangs when the first drive isn't connected and I get that mshta error trying to open add/remove programs if both drives are connected.
Smyantec says you can't have 2 bootable drives in 2k.
Mind you, these are selected at boot time which drive I'm booting from.
I have a Via chipset (KT-133) and there is that problem hiding the drives from the O/S in the Bios that M$ question #272586 is suppose to deal with.
Problem is it didn't work since 2 out of the 3 keys had different numbers.
I have read the Sysprep questions but am more confused after reading them that before.
I have had 4 computers with 2 bootable drives using 98SE and ME with no problems. 2K is a stable O/S but it seems to be too bulitproof
