Every time my Outlook Express opens with a message box saying "This is not your default mail handler, do you wish to make it your default mail handler" to which I click yes. As soon as it is closed and opened again the same question comes up. I have tried through tools, program and options gen etc. to also make it default but to no avail. Under IE6 tools internet options, programs there is nothing listed for mail, Outlook express is listed for News. How can I make it the default mail program. The program appears to be working ok in all other aspects.

THANKYOU, THANKYOU - You have no idea how long I have been looking for an answer to this problem. It may not sound very important to have a defaulting email program, but not having one effects so many other actions that can be done from else where, that it can make it very frustrating at times.
Thanks again for your help. Noddy

You're very welcome Noddy. Actually the congrats go to Reghakr (who was the original poster of this fix).
