I already use Registry Mechanic & SpyWare Doctor ( Licensed ). So before I purchase ( Guardian ), can someone tell me why it won't erase my TRACKS? Meaning, I still see evidence of the sites, urls and history of everything I've done and every place I've visited after I run this program. Thanks

Hi jimmiet,
I have just run a test with the trial version of Privacy Guardian and it has removed internet tracks - cookies, history, temp files.
To help us with this, we need more info. If you could send us a log file, I will be able to assist you further.
To do this:
1. Click on 'Clean now-> Clear Browser settings/Clean Windows Settings and tick the checkbox (You can expand the settings to clean certain areas)-> Clean
2. Once the scan has finished (If the internet tracks are still there), close Privacy Guardian and navigate to c:\Program Files\Privacy Guardian\Cleanlogs and copy the file.
To view the logs, you can go to Settings->Log Settings-> Double click the log file.
You can either attach the file on this forum or you can email me the log. I will provide my email address in a private message.

Anthony, I mailed you the log file and as I stated in the mail I'm gonna try to give you guys a better idea of what I want.
1- I type in the site I want to visit and while I'm there, I visit other links.
2- I close and run Privacy Gaurdian which says it cleaned all but 3rd party items.
3- I go back online and type > A < for instance! I still see each and every site I've visited that starts with A. I can type in > www < and still see all the sites I've visited.
I want a program that eliminates these entrees! Thanks for any and all help. Jimmie

After conducting a cleaning process with Privacy Guardian.. the results identify the "Total items selected" and the "Total items cleared". Would someone please tell me typically what the "items selected" would be.. and why the number of "items cleared" is not the same and those selected?
Thnx

Hi Landok,
The items selected are the areas that have been selected for cleaning, you can view the items by going to clean now > expand each section. For instance, you should see Clean Windows Settings, Clean Browser Settings etc.
While the items cleaned are items which have been cleaned in these sections, for instance temporary files, cookies, history related files etc
