For some reason my Windows 2000 restarts for no reason (not all the time). I was talking with a friend and he said it happens to him. If anyone can help me with this problem I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Stevo

Do you get a blue screen prior to the unit restarting? If there is a software exception that causes the system to restart then it is a critical error and a blue screen of death (BSOD) is displayed with an indication of what caused the problem.
If you have not seen the blue screen then check to see if the the automatic reboot option in the startup and recovery section of system properties is enabled. If it is then disable it and the next time the system fails it will halt at the blue screen (if it is a software issue).
