Antivirus cannot run after installing (W2K)

I got a problem in my company's computer. It is running Win 2000, after installing this antivirus program(MCafee antivirus) and I restart the computer it runs with no problem when I log in as administrator. But when I log in as a normal user the antivirus program will not run. When I manually click the program to run it, it will say "unable to access registry keys or insufficient previliages"

Already tried re installing the antivirus program. but still the same.

Also tried loging in as the user and installing the program but still does not solve the problem.

Had a similar problem with McAfee. Installed as administrator, then when they logged they in, they couldn't run it. If ver4.5.1, as long as user was member of administrators group, reinstalling in their profile would correct it.

Also, that version has choice of maximum security install or minimum security. Don't check maximum. They won't be able to update the dats either.
