Lost Admin password

Please forgive me if this question has been posted before. I have come across a few scenarios that may work, but I wanted to ask some real people what they thought.

If the Administrator password is not known (since he quit) and nobody asked him what it was, can that be recovered without pulling your hair out? In NT or Windows 2000 server? No one else has Admin rights.

Has anyone done this and what are your thoughts? Any suggestions would be great. I will try anything.

Sysroute a.k.a. Jason Smith has a utility that allows you to change the admin password.
