Printer

For some reason my printer now only prints"Page1 of 1,etc. on right hand top of page, and Bottom Left "file://C:\WINDOWS, etc. On Bottom Right "2/10/02 " or whatever the present date is. The rest of sheet is blank.
I have no idea what has happened, BUT if I use my scanner the printer works just fine printing the scanned material.

Not saying if anyone has an answer, but a few more details will certainly help.

What brand/model printer?
What type hookup to the computer?
Networked or not?
What program are you printing from?
Does it occur in ALL programs or just one?

Printer is Canon BJC-2110...Problem occurs in all printings except when printing from a Scan, then it prints O.K......HOOKUP is Dial up.

If it is a problem in most programs, I'd get the latest software/drivers for the printer from their web site, then go into Printers in the Control Panel, remove that printer, and re-install it.

Or maybe it is some of the settings, right-click on the icon, Properties, and check the Page Size and other settings. Print a test page from there also.
