Win95: When running RegClean, I no longer get an undo option. And a choice within the file is "Do you wish to install Microsoft OLE Automation"? Is losing the "undo" option a serious thing? And should the "OLE" be installed? Thank you,

It sounds as though one of these DLL files have been replaced by an older version:
comcat.dll
asycfilt.dll
oleaut32.dll
olepro32.dll
stdole2.tlb
Go to Start>Run, type vcmui. If you find backed-up versions that are newer than the present versions, replace them here. If that doesn't apply
You should find a file named oadist.exe in the RegClean directory. But I'd suggest downloading the VB6 SP5 runtime files here:
<a target="_blank" href=http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?ReleaseID=28337&area=search&ordinal=1>http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?ReleaseID=28337&area=search&ordinal=1</a>

reghakr; Thanks for responding. In Start>Run "cannot find the file vcmui". In the RegClean folder I do have "oadist.exe" listed and when keyed upon, it asks "do you wish to install Microsoft OLE Automation"? Do I?? Or will the download files you suggested suffice? Thanks,
