Windows Shutdown

Is there a way to eliminate some of the choices you get when you shut down windows? Specifically, "Restart in Ms-dos mode" or "standy". It is causing confusion among some users.

Hey guy... One way is too use POLEDIT and create a policy. Read through the readme files and the help first though if you have not used it before. But on a side note, You can go to
HKRY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVIC ES\VXD\VPORWERD and you'll find a value called FLAGS, change that to 300 and the stand by options will go away.
