Hi there.

I have a number of machines setup with a mixed Win95/98 networking configuration. However, I have a need for one of my PCs (Win95b) to map network drive letters from other machines on my network.

The drive mappings are always set to "Reconnect At Login". However, if one of the destination PCs is offline, obviously, an error msg that says "Could not connect - would you like to re-establish connection in the future? (Yes/No)" appears.

I was wondering if there was any way that this "...re-establish connection" message could be bypassed to default to YES in any way? Because otherwise, it's annoying that Windows will sit at that screen unless Yes or No is selected, and services I want to run will not be started.

It would make it a lot easier to manage my network configuration.

Any advice would gladly help.

Thanks.

Right click on Network Neighborhood on the desktop select properties. Double click on the Client For Microsoft Networks entry. Change it to Quick Logon.
