Need Registry Info

I have only just recently stumbled onto what the windows registry is and what it's capabilities might be. I need any information that I can find on the web that will help me to better understand the Registry and manipulate it.

before you make ANY changes in your registry back it up. in Regedit select MY COMPUTER then EXPORT name your file and location then save. If any of your changes produce errors then double click this saved reg file and import it. restart your PC. make sure you test all of your changes immediately. If problems then restore immediately. Do a search on the internet for registry info. There's 100's of 1000's of docs on the reg.
