shutdown - someone still using share - disconnect?

Under windows 9x when you are on a network and someone is using a share on your computer and you try to shutdown it says Sharing - There is # user(s) connected to a share on your computer, do you want to disconnect.

is there anyway to remove that warning to just shutdown without that message coming up
