Interactive Session

Hi

Install W2K advance server with domain controler, enter to him with administrator user.
The problem is when add a new user to domain; when close the sesion administrator and enter with new user name i received an error message indicated that the system local policy not permit interactive session.

How implements this ?

I don't have 2000 server installed right now, so Im somewhat guessing here.

Login as admin go to start/run type in secpol.msc and hit enter.

Expand Local Policies/User Rights Assignment

Double Click on Log on Locally. Add in the name of the user.

closeout. login as the user.

But , not work. I think that the problem not is this. I have installed other server like this and dont have this problem.

When the user is part of administrators group there is no problem

Already initiate for the beginning, formated all, and again this problem.

It has something to see the type of licensing. What do you think ?

Interactive groups are defined as admin, power users etc.. check it out in the 2000 help. I think you already have it... add the user to the admin group. Why other servers and not this one? I don't know.
