Downloaded the wrong drivers...help please...

Last nite I was at my friend's house, and
we tried to use Easy CD Creator Deluxe
version 4 on his PC, with Window XP!
It did not work, so we got the patch and downloaded the wrong one.
(i know...).
The problem is that Window XP does'nt recognize the CD drive, and
we can't turn off the computer anymore,we do it manually(button).
Can someone help me on this matter please, before I format c:
We did uninstall the program(add/remove), but without success.

You have the driver rollback feature in Windows XP. You can also perform a system restore. This just takes the settings back to what they were before you downloaded the driver.

Windows XP has a restore feature that can be used to restore the system to a previous state. The restore is run by default every 60 days (I believe) or whenever there is a change to the system files. To access the System Restore Wizard, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.
