Quick launch

Is there a way to make the quick launch bar smaller than 4 icons? I want to just see the double arrow.

right click on a clear space on the taskbar and clear the checkmark next to Lock the Taskbar. The task bar then shows a bar made up of "dots" that seperates the quick launch area from the main taskbar. move your mouse over the dots and it will change to a double arrow, click and move to the left "covering" quick launch items and showing the double arrows you seek to see.

Huh? Lock the task bar? I'm using win2k. I don't see any lock the task bar. I've been looking all over the registry too.

I don't have a Lock theTaskbar either, Win98 SE. The end is the same. Place the mouse over the separator and drag to the left. Unfortunately, if there are four icons in the toolbar, 4 icons will show. You can only make the toolbar smaller by either removing some of the icons or by closing the Quick Launch Toolbar.
