Have to w2k pro installed box, don't want to set
AutoLogOn as Admin, but need to autolog as a
user, how do I do it. All the help will be highly
appreciated.

Easiest way is to use TWEAKUI and set the auto logon feature in it.

Checkout the tweak posted on this site. http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/13/

There's been past postings on this tweak...
After the tweak is set to allow the user to auto login, the admin can't reverse the tweak because the admin can't login. The user can't make changes in the applicable subkey so the user can't reverse the autologin.
Here's a recent tweak that is now known...

This tweak will stop anyone from using the shift key to circumvent the original login tweak.
But, if you use this tweak then my original statements hold true. If you don't use the tweak then the autologin tweak is not secure.
It's a catch-22

Thanks for clarifying that Pat.

Sure. The reason this topic "sticks out in my mind" is because I ran into the "no reverse" problem before the shift tweak was known.

Thanks for the tweak, it worked perfect.
Now that I have the boxes to AutoLogOn, and
I begin to access PC 2 from PC 1, there is a
dialoge box wanting me to enter username and
password for PC 2. Is there a way to autolog
here as well ?
