Can I do a clean install of win2k and the replace the registry with a previously installed win2k registry? If it is possible - how do I do it or were can I find the instructions?

I suppose you could export the old registry before formatting/clean install and then import it back in. But to my way of thinking, this would only bring back in any problems you were having, therefore no more 'clean install'. 'Clean install' implies wiping out everything on the hard drive and starting fresh, re-installing programs as you go, etc.

My problem is that my "print services" have been made unavailable somehow. I need to regain them to use my printers. That's why I asked.
Any Ideas?
Thanks

Is it advisable...NEVER.
