Refreshing the registry

This isn't a vbs question. It's a Visual Basic 6.0 question. I once posted a question here about refreshing the registry with scripts so that policy changes are enforced without the user having to END TASK on Explorer or log off and log back on.

I think the solution was a wmSettingsChange command in VB that one of the kind system administrators here told me about. It's been some time ago, and I have lost the web page from MSDN the administrator gave me.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. I've searched the MSDN Library and all of the archives on this forum to no avail.
