I've recently upgraded/dual booted to windows 2k for a little hands on experience and am wondering if there is the equivelent to mscconfig in some mmc or administration tools snap in?

In Computer management under System Info > Software Envirnemnt> Startup Programs, you can see everything thats starting, and where its starting from but you can't edit it.

Am I doomed to cleaning out the programs via the Registry, and the various startup group locations?

Any help is much appreciated, there has to be an easier way built in...isn't there?

There is something that I use in both Win98 and Win2K, its called Startup and there is an exe file or a cpl file. Both work pretty much the same way except that the cpl file shows up in Control Panel. I find the exe is easier for me. Just put it anywhere you want and it can be started with a double click. Anyway heres the link:
