Good Day
I have a customer who said their modem stopped working. I confirmed this and have since tried new modems, reinstalling NT 4.0 and sp6a numerous time but in each case the ras install finds no ras compatible modems. I can load the modem manually through the modem icon in control panel.
If I leave the hardware unchanged except for the hard drive and reload NT it all works ok. Obviously a software problem but the MS knowledgebase etc doesn't have any history with this.
Does anyone have a clue?
