I have been told many different ways to create user profile in Win2k. One way is to copy the administrator user profile. Another is to login as the user itself and set all the settings.
But what is the correct and simplest way to create a user profile on, let say twenty win2k workstation without have to login as the particular user??
Thanks.

You can use the Active Directory Users and Computers snap in. This will allow you to create a template for users, and or create one new account and then copy it 20 times.
Before you can log in to the domain with an account it must be created on a server, thus you cannot log into a computer with an account to modify its settings (unless it is the admin account created during setup).
To solve this problem open the Active Directory Users and Computers snap in from the Administrative tools folder within Start -> Programs.
Then choose the Action menu to see a list of tasks that you can perform. Select New User from the Action menu and complete the form to create an account. Then you can copy or duplicate that account as many times as needed.
By the way... unless you are going to modify the account settings immediately, or disable the account(s) it is bad practice and a potential security risk to copy the administrator account, for the simple fact that you have to be sure to adjust the permissions and settings for the account and not forget anything...
