I can't get rid of the old user on my computer!!!

I have bought a used computer that had windows 95 on it. I bought and installed the Windows 98 upgrade, and it works fine. How do I get rid of the old user information on the system?

Go to Run, type regedit. Navigate down the registry keys to: My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Win dows|CurrentVersion

Right-click Registered Owner and Modify.

You also might go to Edit, Find and put in the old name/s you want to change.
