renaming files

instead of right clicking on the file you want to rename is there a way to do it with the keyboard?

If you're talking about in windows, just hitting a key instead of clicking, then right-click and hit "m" to rename, if you're talking about doing it in DOS..
Start->run->command->
c:\>ren original.file new.file
