View Full Version : NT4 Numlock LED problem

When turning ON or OFF the NumLock, the LED stays OFF buth the function is ON.
This means, I cant see if the Numlock state is ON or OFF. (This is in NT4)
Any solution for this.

Is it the LED on the keyboard itself? I have seen 2 circumstances of this problem, the keyboard had gone bad for one and the other was the keyboard controller chip on the motherboard had gone bad, which in both cases meant new hardware.

It is not the LED or the controller. When NT4 is newly installed again the LED works also again.
The problem occures in a PC park and I don't want to re-install NT4 again when this problem occures.
When rebooting, the LED works aslong that NT4 hasn't started up, then its out buth the function still works.
