Command prompt flags of Regedit.exe

I'm a qbasic programmer, and a Newbie at that!

I need to know how to use Regedit.exe's command prompt flags to add a registy key file (file.reg) to the exsisting registry.

for example: Regedit /add file.reg

Please help...
