Hello ! How can i make the background of the desktop icons' text transparent ? (without using e tweaking utility, of course). Thank you.

you will have to find a icon maker that has the option called transaprent I had one a long time ago
that is for the icon part itself

if you are talking about the words that describe them just change the desktop wallpaper and apperence a few time it will reset it....
