View Full Version : Proxy checkmark in IE

I need to "grayout" the checkmark for "Use proxy server", for IE5.5 or 6.0. This check is under <IE properties><connections><proxy server>. I need to disable several users from accessing this option for 95,98 and NT2000 wstns. Thanks.

Still having a problem. I cannot get this to work. I have created the subkeys and DWORD but still the no luck. I may be missing something. Any suggestions?

can you post the reg entires that your trying to implement? Also, can you post the syntax used when trying to implement the tweak?

Found my problem; don't want to say what fixed it without looking dumb.
I need to ask if making changes in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER will this restrict all users that login to that machine? I have win95 and win2k.

Yes, just as long as they inherit the reg tweak through the login script.
