Hi, can someone point me towards a tutorial or guide which will explain what the contents of config.sys etc mean please.
My reboot takes forever and im sure theres stuff in there which doesnt need to be.

We'd have to see it first. Right-click on config.sys in c:\ and click Open With and scroll down in the list to Notepad. Uncheck the "Always open with....". In Notepad go to Edit, Select All, then go back to Edit, Copy. Back in this forum, right click in the Post box and Paste. Then continue.
