Missing shortcut

when booting up windows 98 se in the lower left corner I'm getting the flashlight window looking for short cut for watch.exe folder. It seems to be missing from my hard drive completely. Is there anywhere I can download this file?

It may be being called from the Startup folder in Start, Programs, Startup. If so, you may want to delete it. It could be in win.ini or system.ini, do a search in those 2 files from Start, Run, sysedit.

Start, Run, type msconfig, click OK, go to Start up Tab and deselect the watch.exe click OK.

Did what you said and there is no mention of shortcut path to the watch.exe folder what so ever, in either file.
