cannot open .eml files

I use Windows 98. I also use Outlook Express for my mail. When I recieve .eml files, I cannot open them. An error reads: files does not have a program associated with it. Thanks for any help Spark

Have you tried creating an association in folder options file types .It opens with MSIMN

Try the repait for IE first
It will repair the registry and if that dosen't fix it then we will hit some keys up in the registry
Did you ever install another email program then remove it...

go start run-- type in MSINFO32 -- ok
on top of the next window select tools -- IE repair tool --- do the rest

here is one of the keys that other mail programs changes
