Script that changes the Wallpaper

Hi, I'm thinking about wrting a program that can change the WinXP desktop wallpaper when it's run. But I'm not shure if it's a good idea to do this with a script cause I can't do that. Perhaps anyone knows how to make Windows reload the wallpaper after it's set in the registry just like IE does when setting a wallpaper.
