Once you have installed Firewall Plus, whenever an application tries to connect to any network or the Internet, Firewall Plus will display a pop-up notification which will let you allow or block the connection.

Firewall Plus caters to two levels of users. The Normal User Mode makes it easy for everyday users to keep their computers safe whilst connecting to the Internet or any other network, and does not require in-depth technical know-how. All you need to do is to choose which applications are allowed access to the Internet/network.

In the Expert User Mode, Firewall Plus allows you to have greater control over how  your computers and applications connect and interact with the Internet/network.
