Advanced rules are precise filtering rules for allowing or blocking specific network communications.

Rules are configured separately for two different zones.

• Trusted Zone: Your Local Area Network, shared resources, printers, etc.

• Internet Zone: Everything not included in the Trusted Zone.

Having a different set of rules for each of these zones allows you to have different security levels for the two zones.

To access the Advanced Rules screen, click on Advanced Rules in the left navigation menu.
