Over the past year the PC Tools team has been working hard on improving the features of Desktop Maestro to meet our changing customers' needs. The result is Performance Toolkit™, the new easy-to -use essential toolkit to speed up your PC!
So from September 1, 2010 PC Tools Desktop Maestro will become PC Tools Performance Toolkit.
We will honor all current active subscriptions for Desktop Maestro and customers will still have access to the following services until 1 September 2011:
- Technical and customer support
- Full use of product features
Existing Desktop Maestro users are entitled to an automatic switch to Performance Toolkit at no cost until your current licenses expires, so you'll continue to have access to all the features you're use to, plus whole lot more including:
- Accelerated boot time and Windows start-up
- Improved performance and stability by removing orphaned references in your Windows® registry.
- Easily optimize your system automatically improving system performance with a set of tweaks and fixes applied to the Windows® registry.
- File Recover quickly scans and recovers your lost pictures, music, documents, and other files.
- Protect your Internet privacy and keep your web usage away from prying eyes.
- Securely erase your personal files and data from your computer.
- Bleaches unused hard drive space, making deleted files unrecoverable.
