Email/Direct Marketing Specialist, Sydney

Working as part of the customer/email marketing team you will be responsible for the planning, design and measurement of high impact email marketing campaigns from start to finish. You will help establish and grow a full lifecycle marketing program utilising our global customer and email subscriber database.

The key responsibilities will include:
• Working with the Customer Marketing team to create and take ownership of a fully lifecycle marketing program holistically and to a campaign level.
• Providing end-to-end campaign management from concept development to analysis.
• Managing and or creating the creative copy for each campaign including A/B sampling.
• Analysing and providing monthly reporting to a campaign level.
• Tweaking and fine tuning campaigns to ensure they are delivering the best results possible.
• Gathering and sharing information with other PC Tools stakeholders.
• Ensuring all processes are effective and efficient.

This role requires the holder to:
• maintain a high degree of independence
• have the ability to deal at all levels within the PC Tools’ management
• take ownership of projects that will impact other stakeholders and maintain internal satisfaction
• recommend strategies and initiatives

The successful candidate should be someone with a direct marketing background combined with a good understanding of the online marketplace with the following attributes:
• The ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast paced environment.
• The ability to manage stakeholder relationships with often conflicting deadlines.
• The ability to work in a team environment, effectively sharing ideas and solving problems with others.
• The capacity to work independently and to solve problems autonomously.
• The ability to work to tight deadlines.

Knowledge: Campaign management experience – ideally high volume email delivery in the business to consumer marketplace
Expertise in end-to-end campaign management, triggered and promotional
Experience in campaign testing and analysis

Preferred: Experience in email or direct marketing
Strong copywriting skills

Ability: Working to tight deadlines
Organised and an eye for detail
Ability to prioritise tasks
Carry a positive attitude

Skills: MS Office

Qualifications: Tertiary or TAFE qualifications

Experience: 1-3 years experience in Email or Direct Marketing. Also, proven experience in a role where initiative, attention to details, ability to manage conflicting priorities and time management skills were highlighted.
