PC Tools ( www.pctools.com ) is a hugely successful and rapidly expanding leading international software company in need of Malware Analysts.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a person with outstanding Windows knowledge to become involved in malware (Virus/Trojan/Worm/Spyware) analysis leading to a career in the Security field.  This is a role that suits recent graduates in IT.

We are a fast growing software company exporting products globally and we are looking for an applicant with outstanding analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. With on the job training provided by experts in their field, your primary responsibility will be to analyse and identify malware in support of customers around the world. You will work within a closely-knit team.

Responsibilities include:

• Define, research, update and test signatures to detect and remove malware.
• Perform structured product testing for new security features.
• Help define new security features.
• Answer queries from support and/or clients on software and database related issues

To be considered for this role you will have:

• An IT related Degree or previous experience with security product.
• Understanding of Operating System internals including file system and registry.
• Understanding and knowledge of at least one high-level programming language
• Excellent and disciplined analytical skills.
• Have a positive attitude and enjoy teamwork.

It would be an advantage if you have

·         Exposure to assembly language on any computer

·         Any experience with reverse engineering of programs
