Windows Explorer integration

When PC Tools AntiVirus is installed, a Windows Explorer right-click function is added. This allows you to use PC Tools AntiVirus to scan for one or more files or folders for viruses or related malware using Windows Explorer itself.

To scan one or more files or folders using Windows Explorer:

  1. Open Windows Explorer and select the files or folders to scan with PC Tools AntiVirus.

  2. Right-click the selected files and select "Scan for viruses" from the resulting popup menu.

  1. PC Tools AntiVirus commences a File Scan on the selected files or folders using its current settings.
