What's new in this release?

PC Tools AntiVirus 2.0.2 incorporates a number of enhancements:

• Several enhancements to PC Tools AntiVirus' GUI functionality, which include:

• Extended interactivity and information provided on the Main Status screen.

• The ability to suppress popup alerts and reactivate them.

• Dynamic refreshing of the Custom Scan Selection tree, which now indicates the addition or removal of drives as they are added or removed from the computer.

• The Scan results and Quarantined Items lists now displays date and time information indicating when each infected item was respectively detected and removed.

• The OnGuard tool now provides an OnGuard protection alert when deactivated.

Whenever the OnGuard feature of PC Tools AntiVirus is turned off, the OnGuard Protection Alert message displays, with the option to select a time interval for when it automatically reactivates. The option to disable the OnGuard Protection Alert feature is also provided.

• The Scan Settings feature now applies to PC Tools AntiVirus' OnGuard real-time protection features.

The file type and scan options available on the Scan Settings screen now applies to infections detected in real-time through the OnGuard tool (OnGuard Scan) in addition to those detected in an on-demand File Scan.

• Other functional enhancements, which include:

• The ability to detect the presence of Boot Sector Viruses.

• The ability to reset default selections on the Scan Exclusions list.
