The Main Status screen provides a quick summary of the status of your system. This screen is displayed as soon as you launch PC Tools AntiVirus. You can also go to it from any other screen by clicking 'Status' in the left navigation menu.

This screen is divided into two sections:

Activate Scan, Configure IntelliGuard protection or General Settings

The links listed here allow you to begin scanning, to activate or deactivate your IntelliGuard protection, and configure general settings.

Status and Summary

This section tells you:

• The edition of PC Tools AntiVirus you are running. If you are running a free version, click the link to purchase or register online.
• The version of PC Tools AntiVirus you are running and whether it is current or outdated
• Time of last scan
• Time of last Smart Update
• Product, Engine and Database version numbers

It also provides you with quick links to:

• View the results from the last scan
• Restore infections from Quarantine
